Highport Stables (HPS) is a full service show jumping operation focusing on sales, scouting, and training of top level horses and riders. HPS is based in Wellington, Florida through the winter season and in North Salem, New York in the summer.

Highport Stables founder, Vasco Flores, began riding when he was 12 years old after friends involved in the industry suggested he try the sport. Vasco was quickly hooked. Deciding to create his own path in the sport, he worked his way up through the ranks with hard work, dedication and a true passion for horses.
Over the years Vasco has had the opportunity to train and work with the best in the sport. After participating in a clinic held at the Centro Ecuestre de Puerto Rico in his home country with Jimmy Doyle, Vasco was presented with the opportunity to travel to the United States. In 2012, Vasco officially moved to the US and worked under the guidance of Mr. Doyle and Georgina Bloomberg’s Gotham Enterprises.
Perhaps Vasco’s most cherished opportunity while working for Gotham Enterprises came in 2018, when he was able to represent Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games held in Colombia. Vasco finished first among Puerto Rican riders and 12th overall, thus securing a spot at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Perú.
Early in 2019, Vasco left Gotham Enterprises to fulfill another of his lifetime goals: LAUNCHING HIGHPORT STABLES.
Student Program
With a long history in the sport and an experienced team behind him at Highport Stables, HPS founder Vasco Flores places an emphasis on training aspiring show jumping students to reach their highest potential through a structured program.
